No old car collection is complete without a Model A Ford, and this 1930 coupe is one of the more desirable body styles on the considerably long list of choices. Coming from an extensive no expense spared nut and bolt restoration, this one is one of the better options to choose. The fresh Dove Gray and Black Paint is impressive, once you see it in person, you'll fall in love. Finish work is impeccable with near perfect paint and a perfectly powder coated frame, all of the bright work is new polished stainless including nuts, bolts, bumpers head and tail light housing etc.. . Given the massive resources out there for restoring a Model A, it's no surprise that this one fits together well with doors that fit snugly, a nicely aligned hood, and perhaps most interestingly, a finished trunk instead of a rumble seat, making this a true 2-seater. It has not been over-accessorized, either, as many people believe that simple Model As should remain simple, but it does have a few convenient upgrades like, halogen headlights, led tail lights and turn signals, a custom built 6 volt ALTERNATOR and a brand new Ford-logo spare tire cover out back. It's also worth noting that the bumpers are brand new and look fantastic. For a Model A, the interior is nicely appointed, with a comfortable bench seat and fully upholstered door panels. The dash is the same one all Fords got in 1930, has had some custom hand built wood trim added, flat-faced gauge panel. All the original hardware and controls are there, including the steering-wheel-mounted headlight controls right under the horn button, throttle and spark levers on the steering column, and fuel shut-off under the dash. With the gas tank right there in the cowl, ventilation comes from a tilt-out windshield, which really makes a nice difference on warm days, making the Model A a nice place to spend an afternoon. That kind of touring is all the more enjoyable with the large trunk in back, which is finished in dark colored carpet. All Model As, even the trucks, got the same torquey 200 cubic inch four cylinder engine, with the one in this coupe being a great runner with that traditional Model A sound. All the correct equipment is there, and the block wears just the right shade of Ford Green. The 3-speed manual transmission completely rebuilt with all sealed bearings so you won’t have any leaks. You'll surely find that this coupe keeps up with traffic easily and cruises happily at 55 MPH on the open road thanks to the touring cam that was installed.
